After graduating from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2001, I jumped into the retail industry as a designer and sign writer for Lush. There I spent over half a decade running the UK design team as well as leading VM strategy and window displays, across the brand’s network of UK and European stores.

From this, I became designer and brand guardian for Lush’s global team. I opened shops, advised and collaborated with international design teams and business owners in over twenty countries worldwide.

Using this diverse experience, I left Lush to become partner and creative director of my own small creative services studio. We successfully delivered many creative projects over 8 years. For the past 3 years I have been a freelance consultant, working with a range of established and independent clients, primarily within the fields of retail and interiors.

Over my 20 years experience, I have helped establish new brands, worked with high street shops, organisations, galleries and museums. I can coherently and successfully troubleshoot for brands and independent shops by analysing where they may be missing potential sales opportunities with in-store displays, windows and campaigns.

Each project is approached with innovation and a keen eye for detail. I always bring energy, enthusiasm and creative solutions to any project.

As a designer I can translate a brief into a feasible project or plan of action. Communication is key to knowing what my clients might want as an outcome, so I make sure to listen and collaborate in order to achieve the right balance of producing something that works, and delivering on what the client wants.

I have strong values and beliefs, so I like to work with people and brands that share these. I started my career at Lush because I had spent my teenage and art college years campaigning for animal rights.

These days my core values are just the same, but also extend to the planet and being a concious consumer. I try to work with mindful, ethical brands with a focus on sustainability and community.
